One way television programmes reflect social and cultural contexts is by Class which reverses the stereotypes of teenagers often being rebellious and adults being the more wiser ones and instead presents teenagers as the wiser ones and adults as rebellious. It also presents women as heroic and risk takers. This is shown by April who originally is a really smart person and a bit nerdy gets into a relationship with Ram a (jock) but doesn't realise she is sharing a heart with Corakinus a (cold hearted villain) and gets controlled by him in order for him to retrieve all of his heart killing April.Things are usually fine until Aprils dad comes back and tells her mum she is in trouble,April then falls down and her eyes begin to glow orange.She is then controlled by Corakinus and rages at her dad almost killing him but is saved by Ram,she then spares her dads life showing she is sympathetic and restore her mums walking ability and goes to fight Corakinus on her own showing she is heroic
